"A full

antenatal

course

and a

mind

opening

process"...

You may be aware that your mind operates in two halves, your conscious and subconscious. In hypnobirthing we educate and empower at both levels of conciousness, by utilising tried and tested hypnosis techniques. This course explores your knowledge, preconceptions and fears surrounding birth, and then we work together to improve your confidence, help you excercise your own agency, and tap into your own powerful instincts.

Hypnobirthing is about stepping into your birth power. Re-focusing your mind, and equipping you with tools that will benefit you not only for your pregnancy, birth, and postnatal period, but for the rest of your life as a parent

Is this course the right choice for me?

The course is open for anybody planning any sort of birth. I always aim to meet you where you are, and progress from there. You don't need any previous experience or any special equipment, just something you can play MP3 recordings from.

Although I provide you with your hypnosis tapes, and teach you the techniques, what we're aiming for is self-hypnosis. Therefore you should be prepared to set aside some time for practise outside of our sessions, however even if you don't manage to do this you can still benefit greatly from this course as it covers a whole spectrum of antenatal education. Ideally to get the most out of the course, I'd ask that you be no more than 35 weeks pregnant when we start our sessions.

What does "Way of the Koi" mean?

Way of the Koi is a philosophy, not a franchise, which means I have the freedom to create individualised programs for my clients, and write my own materials. This method combines mindful self-compassion, ecotherapy and powerful hypnobirthing techniques, resulting in a truly transformative experience for parents.

Compassion

Composed of three main elements – self-kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness, compassion motivates people to go out of their way to help the physical, mental, or emotional pains of another and themselves. Self-compassion is extending compassion to one's self in instances of perceived inadequacy or failure
